I am a retired Federal employee. My professional career includes a stint as a high school history teacher, a classroom teacher then counselor and finally an administrator for a federal training program I became widowed nearly 5 years ago after 42 years of marriage. My wife and I raised three children and I have five grandchildren.

In the seventies we purchased our first piece of residential rental property a business which has slowly grown over the years and now also includes farm land. I still own and manage that business today. I very much enjoyed the many years of marriage and particularly the aspect of co-parenting our children.

My interests are probably too numerous to mention in an introductory written sketch of myself, however; two activities high on my list are travel and attending concerts, an example; the upcoming U2 American concert tour works for me.

Yes, the hair is all mine as is the color, no bottle enhancement. I work out about an hour every day a routine I developed and shared with my spouse.

I am a life Democrat and progressive. My first experience as a party volunteer was the Johnson/Goldwater election campaign. I have been active in most, local, state and national campaigns since then.

I like most anything that is fun and enjoyable...do not like shouting, cuss words, angry people, never retire for the evening upset, discuse problems, like working on the computer doing cad drawings, like to read the morning paper with a few cups of coffee, late to bed, early riser, like to go out when it's sunny and nice, swimming, biking, some skiing....still working on it, don't have to worry about what I eat...military vet, all medical taken care....haven't been to see the doc in over 30 yearsso I guess I am alright, they haven't sent for me...smile...did I miss anything...aah!
